Automotive Refrigerant R134a (tetrafluoroethane) is an HFC Refrigerant Gas, and the chemical formula is CF3CH2F. R134a does not destroy the ozone layer. It is used to replace chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) refrigerants. R134a is mainly used for residential and Auto Refrigerant Gas. It is the mainstream Environment-Friendly Refrigerant at present.In addition, it can be used to transform existing r-12 refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It can also be used as aerosol, flame retardant and foaming agent in medicine, insecticide, cosmetics and cleaning products.
