Silane γ-Isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane (CAS 24801-88-5)

Description

Manta S320 is a unique isocyanate functional silane. The isocyanate functionality exhibits the typical reactivity of an alkyl isocyanate and will react with most reactive hydrogen containing compounds. The silane portion of these products can then crosslink with each other or be used to adhere to a variety of substrates.

Provides good adhesion to difficult substrates as an adhesion promoter

Applications

Silane Manta S320:

1) As a modifier to alkoxy silyl crosslinked fluororesin fluid.

2) To promote adhesion to silicone rubber and  for one-part moisture curable and two-part reactive urethane systems.

3) As an additive to Urethane Paints, adhesives, sealing materials, and a modifier to hydroxyl resins (acrylic resin, PVA). etc.

4) Crosslinking for one-part moisture curable urethane adhesives, sealants and coatings when used to endcap diol of polyol polymers

5) Adhesive promoters for silicon sealants or coating seeking enhanced adhesion to organic substrates on which active hydrogen species are present, such as nylon or other plastics.

Safety and Storage

Keep in a cool and dry place and avoid storage in direct sunlight. Shelf life is min. 12 months. It is shipped as hazardous substance.
