The functions of each part in the figure are described below:
Eliminator: Used to eliminate free gas in the fluid to avoid measurement errors caused by the volume occupied by free gas.
Filter: Filter out various impurities (such as particles, fibers, ferromagnetic substances) in the fluid and prevent them from entering the sensor to ensure that the parts inside the sensor (especially the shaft and bearings) are not damaged. The mesh number of the filter depends on the impurities in the fluid, generally 20-60 mesh
Rectifier: When the length of the straight pipe section in front of the sensor is not less than 20 times the nominal diameter, the rectifier does not need to be installed. Otherwise, in order to ensure the accuracy and stability of the sensor, a rectifier must be installed to eliminate the effects of bias flow, rotational flow, eddy current, etc.The sensor should be installed horizontally, and the fluid flow direction should be consistent with the flow direction mark on the housing. The axis of the pipeline of the sensor should be aligned with the axis of the corresponding pipeline, and the gasket used for connection sealing should not go deep into the inner cavity of the pipeline. The upstream and downstream should have the same tolerance as the sensor respectively. Otherwise, a rectifier should be installed upstream. The flow regulating valve should be installed downstream of the sensor.
The entire duct system should be well sealed.
