Vacuum O-Rings Seal Viton Buna-N material

The O-ring seal attaches to the top of the vacuum body.They work together with centering ring and outer rings. It creates an air tight seal to maintain proper suction power. Older style vacuums have a seal which pushes up into the vacuum motor housing. They tend to fall out easily with age. The older seals should be replaced with the new style seal. The O-ring material include Viton or NBR or Silicon, Brown Color and Black color is most commonly used. 

The centering ring contains a rubber elastomer o-ring. The standard sizes for quick flange fittings are KF-10, KF-16, KF-25, KF-40, and KF-50 with flange sizes NW-10, NW-16, NW-25, NW-40, and NW-50, respectively. They are made of corrosive resistant stainless steel with Viton® O-Ring. Viton® is well known for its excellent resistance to heat (400°F/200°C) and to aggressive fuels and chemicals, which are belongs to KF Vacuum Flanges & Components series.
